Two people were killed in southeastern Russia in an overnight drone attack by Ukraine, emergency officials said Wednesday.
Rescuers recovered the bodies from debris left behind after a house collapsed in Syzran city of the Samara region, the Emergency Situations Ministry said in a statement.
In a separate statement on Russia's social media platform Max, Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said search and rescue teams were working at the site.
"Four people, including one child, were rescued from the rubble," he said.
Ukraine's General Staff confirmed carrying out a large-scale drone attack on Russia.
