BAGHDAD
Suicide attack in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad killed 5 and wounded 10.
Two suicide bombers loaded with explosives attacked the 2nd regiment in northern Iraq, an official from Baghdad Operations Command told Anadolu Agency.
"Security forces responded to the attack. One of the suicide bombers detonated the explosives covering his body during the clash. Three soldiers died and 10 were wounded. The second suicide bomber was killed before he had a chance to blow up the explosives," the official said.
Authorities declared curfew in the region following the incident.
Over 140 people lost their lives during the attacks in Iraq in the last four days.
