ANKARA (AA)
The police convinced the protesters on Tuesday to remove their tents around a park in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
The protesters, mostly university students who continue their sit-in around Kugulu Park in central Ankara to support the Gezi Park demonstrations, conversed with the police chief in the area, who asked them to remove their tents in the park.
The protesters agreed and broke the camp, as they applauded the police for their peaceful conduct.
